SOL yield strategy builder
Split your money between Orca liquidity pools, USDC lending, JLP and staked SOL, set rules that change the split as SOL’s price moves, and see what the strategy would be worth day by day. Pool yields account for how much your own deposit would dilute them.

1. Your money and SOL’s path
SOL starts at today’s $108.78 and moves smoothly (by the same percentage each day) to each target in turn. Bitcoin and ether follow SOL by their measured weekly response, as on the JLP vs SOL page, and JLP follows all three through its net exposures plus its yield.

What each pool would pay you, after your own deposit dilutes it
A pool shares its swap fees among the liquidity active at the current price. Your deposit adds liquidity, so you take a share of the fees, but every other provider’s share shrinks, and so does the yield on each of your dollars. A narrower range buys more liquidity per dollar: it earns more, but it is out of range more often and it dilutes the pool sooner.

Yield = the pool’s swap fees per day (the last seven days’ average, after Orca’s protocol share) × 365 × your liquidity ÷ (the pool’s active liquidity + yours) ÷ your deposit. The pool-wide APR spreads the same fees over everything in the pool, including liquidity parked outside the current price, which earns nothing. It assumes swap volume and other providers’ liquidity stay where they are; in practice deeper liquidity can attract some extra volume, and other providers come and go. Fee tiers with little activity give unreliable figures. How Orca positions earn fees.

How the money is split on day one, and whenever no rule applies.

4. Rules
Each day the rules are checked from the top. The first rule whose conditions are all true sets the mix; if none is true, the starting mix applies. When the mix changes, everything is moved to the new split and each pool reopens around the day’s price. Conditions can test SOL’s price and moves, your return, the day, or your crypto or SOL exposure, measured on what you hold that day.
No rules yet: the starting mix is held throughout.

How this works
The scenario runs one day at a time. USDC lending and mSOL staking compound daily at today’s rates. JLP’s price is its entry price × (1 + its net SOL, bitcoin and ether exposures × their moves) × its quoted yield, as on the JLP vs SOL page. Each Orca position follows Orca’s concentrated-liquidity formulas: as the price rises through the range it sells the first token for the second, and outside the range it holds only one token and earns nothing.
While in range, a position earns the pool’s average daily fees from the last seven days (after the protocol share, scaled by your fee activity) × your liquidity ÷ (the pool’s active liquidity + yours), so a larger deposit earns a lower rate. Fees are kept as dollars inside that section until the next move. Other providers’ liquidity and the pool’s dollar volume are held at today’s levels, even as prices move.
Moving money costs your chosen rate on every dollar that changes section, plus half of each pool that is reopened, since re-centering swaps about half of it. The starting positions are assumed to be bought for free. Ranges are not rounded to Orca’s tick spacing. Not modelled: rewards programmes, borrowing, liquidation, gas, taxes, lending-rate changes as you deposit, and changes in JLP’s trader positions. This is a what-if tool, not a forecast or advice.
